EPGY Mathematics for Grades K-7
The strand-based curriculum used in the course emphasizes elementary material on sets, arithmetic, fractions, geometry, measurement, and pre-algebra. New concepts are introduced through brief, multimedia lectures. The lectures weave among different topic areas to increase engagement. After the lectures, students are given sets of exercises that reinforce the concepts.
EPGY Language Arts & Writing for Grades 2nd-7th
Developed by Stanford’s Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI), this Tutor Supported course utilizes innovative language analysis technology and provides students with rigorous instruction and practice in the grammar, usage, and conventions of standard English. Its five interwoven components – Parts of Speech, Sentence Structure, Sentence Composition, Paragraphs, and Reading – correspond to the latest English Language Arts standards.
EPGY Intro to C Programming for Grades 9th-12th
The programming exercises are oriented towards learning how to construct an efficient algorithm to solve a problem. The course will use the Dev C++. Students are given regular programming assignments throughout the course. Students learn to compile, execute, and debug their programs. The students are requested to write 30 programming exercises during the course in addition to theoretical exercises and a test.
