EPGY Summer Institutes Residential Counselors (RCs) constitute the majority of the Summer Institutes’ staff. RCs also act as teaching assistants, providing instructional support in the academic portion of the program.

The main instructional role for Residential Counselors takes place during a three-hour period in the early afternoon. During this time, counselors work closely with students on their coursework, either in one-on-one sessions, or in small groups. • Assisting with program set-up

  • Enforcing the rules of the program to keep all students safe
