This course will introduce students to concepts of computer programming through multimedia programming and robotics. The multimedia segment will include programming platforms used to make interactive game-like programs that include graphics, sound, and user controls. The robotics segment will include programming with the LEGO MindStorms Robotics Invention System. The course will emphasize a problem-based approach where students are given challenging assignments suitable to their past programming experience, and they will work collaboratively in teams to design and build their projects. |
