EPGY residential counselors are selected from the best and the brightest university undergraduates and graduates, who have a passion for teaching and mentoring others. They are primarily current or former Stanford students.
The counselors serve a dual role in the residential and instructional sides of the program. They provide innovative social programming and supervision of participants in all aspects of their residential life, and they have a mentoring, teaching and tutoring role with one of the Summer Institutes courses.
