On weekends and selected weekdays during the Beijing Summer Institute, students are taken on excursions to points of cultural, historical, or recreational interest surrounding the Beijing. EPGY provides transportation, lunch, and entrance fees on all field trips. Participants of the Beijing Program will visit the major points of interest in and around Beijing such as the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and the Summer Palace.
