Schedule

On weekends and selected weekdays during the Summer Institutes, students are taken by chartered bus on excursions to points of cultural, historical, or recreational interest surrounding the local area. This is one of the highlights of the Summer Institutes International Programs.

Beijing

Participants of the Beijing program will visit the major points of interest in and around Beijing such as the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Great Hall of the People, and the Summer Palace.

Singapore
Participants of the Singapore program will visit the Asian Civilizations Museum, Night Safari, Botanical Gardens, Jurong Bird Park, Bukit Timah and shopping along Orchard Road.

Istanbul

Participants of the Istanbul program will visit Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, the Archeological Museum, Basilica Cistern, Hippodrome, St Savior in Chora, Tekfur Saray, and Fethiye Camii.

EPGY provides transportation, lunch, and entrance fees on all field trips.
