This may be a full-time or a part-time position, and may be combined with other responsibilities. The Computing Coordinator (CC) ensures that the technological side of EPGY runs smoothly. He or she assists EPGYs IT Manager with setting up residential computer clusters. The CC will then oversee hardware maintenance and management of computers, printers, projectors, and networking equipment. The CC will also manage the installation of software and keeping machines free of unwanted programs. Additional responsibilities include assisting instructors, staff, and students in proper use of EPGY equipment. Qualifications: Knowledge of PC maintenance and computer networking; previous computing and/or summer camp experience desirable. Salary: The Computing Coordinator salary depends on qualifications and experience and may include room and board, if desired. There are possibilities for combining this role with that of the Residential Counselor position. |
