The Activities Coordinator has the responsibility of helping to arrange and implement the afternoon, evening and weekend activities. Afternoon options are offered daily and should reflect the diverse interests and talents of the students. These activities are led by the Residential Counselors who will have some input into the offerings. More elaborate activities can be organized for the weekends and special evenings, such as a dance, talent show, concert, slide show, and carnival. The Activities Coordinator will also help plan and coordinate field trips and some special meals. Activities Coordinators are expected to be high-energy individuals who also possess a good deal of creativity, initiative, self-direction, and ability to work both independently and in groups. Qualifications: Creativity and enthusiasm for EPGY; experience with successful event planning; Ability to work well with fellow team members; previous summer camp experience is desirable. Salary: The Activities Coordinator salary is between $550-$675/week depending on qualifications and experience. Room and board is included. Airfare is included for international programs. |
