EPGY offers a range of courses in English Language
Arts and Writing. The core course sequence at the elementary-school
level is intended for students who are reading at the third-grade
level. It provides a systematic presentation of the essential
elements of English grammar and mechanics, focusing on grammatical
concepts, language conventions, and sentence-level writing. This
course covers elements from the standard curriculum of grades 3
through 6. Beyond the introductory course are high-school-level
courses in English grammar and in the Advanced Placement Language and
Composition. All of these courses are self-paced. In addition to
these courses, other more intensive, seminar-style writing courses are
