of lessons in this course.
After most lectures, students are asked to try some sample
questions about the new material. Once they have some practice, they
receive graded online quizzes.
Textbook and Homework
Every lesson has a homework assignment from the textbook. Students
should expect to spend between 5-10 hours per week completing all the
online and offline course assignments.

Exams
At the end of each section of the course, students complete
exams. Exams are done on paper, and then entered into the
computer. Students get immediate feedback on their answers. At the end
of the course, students take a final exam.
Each week, students submit a report of their work
electronically to their instructor, who reviews the student's
work on the exercises and looks for potential trouble areas.
The instructors are available for phone or email consultation
should the student have any questions.
