Conner Evans Accepted into American Youth Leadership Program with Cambodia

Conner Evans, a junior at the OHS, was recently accepted into the American Youth Leadership Program (AYLP) with Cambodia, a cross-cultural exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Youth Programs Division. Evans, one of 30 students from diverse backgrounds across the nation to be accepted into the program, received a full scholarship and will go to Cambodia for a 26-day expedition in June 2012. The program emphasizes responsible global citizenship and leadership for a more sustainable world now and for generations to come.
