New concepts are introduced through brief lectures of
digitized sound accompanied by graphical displays. To view a
demo of a lecture for a specific grade level, click on the image or use the link for that grade level.
The lectures weave among the various strands, or topic
areas, to which the student is introduced.
Students are tracked independently in each of the five
strands (Sets, Logic, and Probability; Arithmetic;
Measurement, Graphs and Equations; Fractions and Decimals; and
Geometry) presented in the course. As students master
concepts, they are moved more rapidly through the material,
while students needing more explanation or practice in a
strand area are given additional drill.
