Exercises

After each lecture, the student receives one or more exercises. The exercises are presented through Java applets. Some questions are simply multiple-choice, while others ask students to identify parts of a sentence (shown) or to construct new sentences. Some questions are evaluated automatically by the computer, while others are deferred to a tutor to evaluate. Students can then come back at a later time and review the tutor's responses to their questions
