EPGY Tuition for 2008-2009 Academic Year
EPGY offer two types of courses: variable-term and fixed-term.
Tuition for variable-term courses is payable on a quarterly basis.
Tuition for fixed-term courses is payable at the start of the course
term. More information.
Tuition does not include registration or shipping fees, if they apply.
Effective October 1, 2007.
Tuition for Variable-Term and Fixed-Term Courses
Tuition for variable-term courses does not cover the costs of a
complete course per se, but rather covers a term of enrollment,
usually one quarter (3 months). During this term, students may cover
as much material in a course sequence as they can. If a student
completes a course mid-quarter, he or she may register for the next
course in the sequence for no additional tuition charge (although
registration and shipping fees will be charged whenever a student
begins a new course). If a student has not completed the course at the
end of the term, the student may pay tuition for an additional
quarter, or for the amount of time appropriate for the student to
finish a course.
Tuition for fixed-term courses covers the full tuition cost of the
course for the specified term. In the EPGY Writing courses, a term is
one quarter in length. Students in these courses must complete the
course within a specified amount of time in order to receive credit
for the course. University mathematics courses are self-paced, so
students may finish before the end of the term; six months is the
maximum allowed to complete the course (without reenrollment).
Fees
Most courses have a registration fee of $35. Shipping and handling is $15 within the contiguous United States and varies outside this region. Late fees are assessed for late registrations. (See Registration Deadlines).
